Placing a booty call simply means to make an open invitation to somebody for having a casual encounter of sex. A person who is in a need of a sexual encounter makes the call to a counterpart who offers the service in exchange for material or money. As the name indicates, the typical term booty call means a call made by a person to his mate asking for them to come over to place of his choice with the intention of having a sexual intercourse with them. The call need not be to a person who is lawfully married or wedded, the call could be to any random person who is willing to have sex with the caller.
The sole intention of the call centres in getting the companion to bed with them. To address the same in simple words is nothing but hiring a prostitute or hooker for a one night stand. The same act when done through a telephone is called as the booty call.
